Unit2 English Writing How to Protect our Environment

Ⅰ. Material analysis

本课是根据九年级第二单元所设计的写作课,主要谈论如何保护我们日益变差的环境,九年级整个第二单元所涉及到的主要内容都是与环境保护有关,课文的学习就是很好的信息输入,本课再对学生进行相关写作技巧的传授,让学生的信息输出能力能够得到提升,把所学的相关短语、句型链接成段,组织成为一篇很好的文章。 II. Students analysis

本课所针对的对象是农村普通中学的学生,学生的整体英文水平都偏差,听说读写能力当中,又尤其是写作能力。本课所设计的内容,是根据学生的具体水平,在学生对于环境保护的相关课文已经有了部分的信息输入以后,再进行的写作能力的拓展。通过视频、图片的导入,以及思维导图、互改评价表的利用,相信学生会有所收获。 III.Teaching aims 1.Knowledge aims:

Be able to master some important phrases about environmental protection, some useful sentence structure, some conjunctions about writing. 2.Skill aims:

1.Be able to develop students’ writing skills.(three part:head, body,end; conjunctions;topic sentence) 2. Be able to write a passage about environmental protection. 3.Emotional aims:

Be able to focus on the changing of our environment and try our best to do everything we can to protect our environment. IV. The key points and difficult points 1. Key points:

Phrases: save water ,waste water, stop people from cutting trees, plant more trees,throw rubbish into dustbins,reduce air pollution/noise pollution......

Sentence structure: sb should(not)/had better(not)/ought to/can/must/need to do sth, don’t do sth..... Conjunctions: first,second, third, after that, finally, in a word...... 2. Difficult points:

1. Be able to write some topic sentences and some detail sentences. 2. Be able to master the usage of conjunctions. V. Learning strategies

1. Teaching students to conclude topic sentences.

2. Teaching students to master the strategies of observation and induction. VI. Teaching aids multimedia.
