eraser是以元音音素开头的单词，前面的不定冠词用an。 如：an eraser一块橡皮

（1）Is this/that...?这/那是……吗？这种句型也是含有be动词的一般疑问句，读时读成升调， 句尾用问号。

注意：由指示代词this,that作主语的一般疑问句，作答时，常用it代替this或that,以避免重 复。

Is this your pencil? 正：Yes,it is./No,it isn’t. 误：Yes,this is/No,this isn’t.

（2）his在这里是作名词性物主代词使用，并不是作为形容词性物主代词，意为“他的书包”，相当于his schoolbag。 【拓展】形容词性物主代词不能单独使用，后面必须接名词；而名词性物主代词可以单独使 用，后面不能接名词。
